Your instructor will work with you to create a personalized learning path, selecting from a variety of Adventure Dives. You are required to complete five dives during the course. You will choose from the following options:

• Deep (Required)
• Underwater Navigation (Required)
• Drysuit 
• Altitude
• Peak Performance Buoyancy 
• Search and Recovery
• Enriched Air Nitrox
• Wreck
• Boat
• Fish Identification
• Underwater Naturalist

Prerequisites:

Open Water Diver certification

Health: Medically fit for diving

Minimum age: 

15 (12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)

Time commitment:

Performance-based, usually 2 days

After this course: The Enriched Air Nitrox course would allow you extend your dive times due to the lack of nitrogen build-up in your body. Also, the Peak Performance Buoyancy course would help you get more streamlined and reduce your air consumption. Every specialty you earn brings you one step closer to the prestigious Master Scuba Diver rating – the highest rating achievable in recreational diving.
