Step 1 – Knowledge Development:This may be accomplished in two ways. The first option is the traditional method by watching the PADI Deep Diver video and answering the questions in your Deep Diver manual. Your instructor will then go over the information with you to ensure comprehension. Option two is by completing the PADI Deep Diver eLearning. The eLearning makes it easy to fit scuba lessons into a busy schedule. Complete the independent study part of your course whenever, wherever it's convenient for you. Work at your own pace, online or offline, using a computer or mobile device.Time commitment: 2-4 hours.
Step 2 – In-water training:During four dives with your Instructor, you will practice descents, ascents, buoyancy and safety stops. Through hands-on exercises, you'll discover how deep dives affect color, physical objects and your brain.Total time commitment: 2-3 days
